This is the first panel of the centre of Miss Elizabeth. I am very happy with the way it looks despite the fact that there are blue hexies next to blue hexies. I have already got the next panel done and the diamonds that join the two together are in place. It is going to be a very time consuming quilt but I do love it and work on it any spare moment. Great way to use up scraps ... and thanks to Rosalie for some of hers!
Am linking with Anthea at www.hibiscus-stitches.blogspot.com.au for her piece yourself together EPP party.
Very nice! Blue next to blue is good.
ReplyDeleteOh wow you have done so well..............I have not got this section finished............and you have 2 done..............hope to see it soon esp if you have the diamonds in...........what colour did you choose..........
ReplyDeletegreat progress!
ReplyDeletehow big are the hexies?
love all the different fabrics.
Hello Eillek,
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, does it really matter if two are together, think of them as twins who can't leave each other's side.
Happy days.
Bev.
This looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. This will make a gorgeous quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress there Elizabeth! And I think the meighbouring blues look fine, because they're different to each other... thanks for linking!
ReplyDeleteGreat work - it is coming together quite quickly. xx

ReplyDeleteHi Liz,
